Single component, heat-activated products – rebuilding and coating grades

Developed specifically to repair and protect metal surfaces suffering from Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) without interruption to plant operation, this product is designed for application directly onto hot surfaces (70-150°C / 158-302°F). A single component, heat activated and solvent free product, it begins to react and solidify at temperatures above 70°C (158°F) and is extremely tolerant of less than thoroughly prepared surfaces providing outstanding adhesion and corrosion protection.

The unique hydrophobic nature of this coating allows water to simply roll minimizing wear by abrasion through its encapsulated blend of lubricating and abrasion resistant fillers. When applied to fluid flow equipment, this product can reduce power consumption, increase efficiency, lower maintenance costs, and improve hydrodynamic performance.

 

Belzona® 1341 (Supermetalglide) is suitable for contact with potable water as it is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and satisfies the UK Drinking Water Inspectorate requirements

Highly specialized composites combining extremely hard closely packing abrasion resistant materials in a polymeric binder, these products are used to repair, protect, or modify equipment subjected to particulate abrasion and erosion. Using a new generation resin technology to enhance the close packing of a unique abrasion resistant filler system, Belzona® 1811 and 1812 are a smoother but highly durable composite capable of being applied in thinner layers, providing greater opportunities to modify profiles and improve flow.
